As a Compliance attorney at Roxell Richards Law Firm, my primary responsibility is to meticulously monitor and enforce adherence to legal deadlines while ensuring smooth progress of cases within our litigation department. This role allows me to contribute to the firm’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction through diligent oversight and effective management of legal processes. The supportive atmosphere and collaborative team dynamics at our firm enhance my professional growth and satisfaction in serving our clients’ needs effectively.
My Why
I earned my Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law – Houston, where I developed a love for transactional law and tax. I was a member of several student organizations such as the Immigration Law Society, Women in Law Society, Tax Law, and served as treasurer of the Hispanic Law Students Association for two years. During my time at South Texas, I also served as a research assistant to Professor Bruce McGovern. I am also a member of the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston (MABAH), the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston (HisBAH).
Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Laws in Taxation at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. My goal as a tax attorney is to serve the communities I grew up in and provide high quality tax services and educational programs for individuals and small business owners.
